Originally from the Gerland district of Lyon, Maxime Ivanez began drawing to avoid boredom, until he was 15 when he discovered graffiti. Ten years of painting and frescoes followed, naturally leading him to a mural painting school, the first in France, located in Oullins (69). His world is inspired by the forest of more or less old buildings found in districts such as St Just, Vieux Lyon or St Georges. The projects follow one another differently, ranging from monumental painting to studio work on canvas, or even illustration.
